This inspection – either as part of a service agreement or as one time job – is intended to be a 1-day general boiler inspection service. The inspection reports on the conditions of your energy plant with all its components. Aside from avoiding unexpected boiler downtime, you can use this inspection to pinpoint components in need of an overhaul at next scheduled service, to plan your next docking, and to order necessary spares and services.
There has never been such an intensity of competition within the marine marked as in the past 10 years. Therefore it is of great value to keep ships in operation without any unexpected stops. By following recommendation from SBS Inspection Reports, extended “life time” of equipment can be achieved. Furthermore the system will indicate a more correct and updated background for both planning budgets and major service & repair work onboard.
